David MacLennan, ASA, EA, MSEA, FCA

David is a consulting pension actuary with over 30 years of experience.  David is a native Oregonian with a degree in mathematics from Reed College.  In 2010 the Actuarial Foundation and the Conference of Consulting Actuaries awarded David the John Hanson Memorial Prize, which is the only prize given to pension actuaries for intellectual achievement (David solved a longstanding problem in pension mathematics known as the MASD or Multiple Annuity Starting Date problem by creating a generalized form of actuarial equivalence).   David is an Enrolled Actuary (enrolled to practice before the IRS and Department of Labor), and an Associate of the Society of Actuaries.

Alka MacLennan, MBA

Alka has a degree in finance and an MBA from the University of Oregon.  Prior to joining the Creveling MacLennan Company she worked as a financial analyst for large corporations.  Her talents include project management, client communications, and actuarial analysis.  In her spare time Alka is involved with several local and international charities.

Aashna MacLennan, BA

Aashna has a degree in Philosophy from New York University. Prior to joining the Creveling MacLennan Company,

Aashna worked as a project manager for an internationally renowned event production company in New York City. Her talents include client communications and service, analytical problem-solving, attention to detail, and project oversight.

Brad Creveling (of counsel)

For over 30 years Brad was the preeminent source for pension appraisals and related analysis in Oregon.  Brad was involved in the majority of appellate court cases in Oregon that concerned pensions and divorce.  Brad has a degree in mathematics from Reed College.  Brad was an Enrolled Actuary and an Associate of the Society of Actuaries.  Brad has retired, but his extensive knowledge and experience is available to the firm when needed.
